A Night Out

Last night, Mr. and I went to the dental school semi-formal.  What a nice change from the usual at school.  (The usual=making dentures for 30 year olds, convincing patients that they should floss more than once a month, and lectures on the stimulating chemical properties of dental amalgam)
It was at a wonderful restaurant in town with GREAT filet and GREAT dancing!  It was so much fun seeing everybody dressed up (not in scrubs!) and having a good time.
I wore this:
I don't usually do the "bubble hem" by any means, but I thought it was kind of fun and wintery. It was also entertaining to see the faculty bust a move on the dance floor!  Oh my goodness, those dentists know how to cut a rug.  Little Miss and her new boy were also in attendance.  I don't think I mentioned before, but she is also in dental school!  I'm a 3rd year, and she's a 1st year...one day we want to open up a practice together!
Today, the four of us had brunch at my favorite spot (mentioned here).  We justified it because Mr. & I are starting P90X tomorrow.  Have you heard of it?  We've done a few of the work outs, and it's intense!  After brunch, we struggled to stay up for a while, but we're not used to late nights like that anymore!  We wound up taking a nap for longer than planned.  I won't tell you how long, because I'm ashamed to say.  Goodness, does this mean we're officially getting old?  We can't stay up past 10pm without having to nap for an undisclosed amount of time the next day?

p.s. in case any of you were wondering, I still haven't shown any signs of Mango sensitivity! ;) whew!

What a cute dress! I wasn't sure I liked that style on me either, until I tried on a similar cut dress for my rehearsal dinner dress at Cache. It was ultra-flattering, and I can't wait to wear it this summer :)

My friend has p90x and yesterday I went over there to do it with her and it was good. My butty is sore.
Enjoy.

Love that dress! Glad you had a nice time.
I know what you mean about feeling that you're getting old...I wonder what happened to all the energy I had in college (and my nights didn't even begin until 10 p.m.)?
By the way, thanks for stopping by my little blog! I look forward to reading more of yours :)
