20 things...

Since I'm new to all of this, I thought I'd share a few things so you can get to know me!

1. I have a little sister (Little Miss) and a little brother (Heartbreaker.)  We're all at the same college!  Mom & Dad still live in Savannah, but want to move closer to us.  They insist that if they do, we're not allowed to move back to Savannah... "We can't chase you all over the country!"

2. Speaking of my sister, people ask us all the time if we are twins!  We're actually 3 years apart.

What do you think? Can you tell which one is me?

3. Mr. Proposed while on a weekend stay at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville.  It was PERFECT!  The next day we just spent all day in the spa, floating around in their pools & planning our dream wedding!

4.  My mom's one of those sweet, gracious ladies you just want to spend all afternoon chatting with.  Her middle name is Girly.  She always hated it-but when I was little, I was secretly jealous of her for it.

5.  Dad's the life of the party!  He's always the first one on the dance floor, and he can play the ukulele like nobody's business!  He is from Hawaii, and I guess it's in my blood--I LOVE the beach!

6.  Sadly, my daily wardrobe consists primarily of scrubs.  This may contribute as to why I wear a dress at every possible opportunity.

7.  I joined a sorority in college, and Mr. jokes that I still think Sorority Recruitment is "the start of the new year."  I can't help it!

8.  My one and only chore for years (other than making the bed) was making the sweet tea every day.  I still think mine's the best around. ;)  now, when I'm at school I grab the diet Gold Peak tea.  It's a close second.

9.  I love baking and cooking, but I don't like the cleaning up part.  Luckily, Mr. usually helps out in that department!

10.  I always sleep with a fan on.  Mom used to call my room the "wind tunnel."

11. Mr. & my ridiculous school schedules had me planning our wedding for 2 completely different dates to make sure that we could both be there! ;)  An outdoor summer wedding or cozy New Year's Eve.  I had cake ladies for both, receptions booked, etc... Luckily everything fell into place and we had a beautiful wedding with all our friends & family
ringing in the New Year! (pictures to follow!)

12.  I've kept a journal/diary off and on since I was 6.  I guess this is the next step in my journaling!

13.  Some of my all-time favorite books include: the Bible (I need to read more frequently), Bergdorf Blondes, The Great Gatsby, Little Women, Angela's Ashes...I love memoirs and any of those little etiquette books!
14.  I went to 3 kindergartens in one year (my dad was a helicopter pilot), and I still love to travel!  I wish I could do more of it!

15. In the morning, I'd rather wake up an hour earlier than necessary so that I can enjoy my cup of coffee and breakfast, watch the morning news with Mr, and casually get ready for the day.

16.  Mr's parents are the best in-laws a girl could hope for!  His dad is definitely a gentle giant.  He played football in college at Memphis, and one of my favorite stories ever is how he ate chicken livers to fit in at his college job near Orange Mound.  He's adorable.  His mom is a cheerleader through and through.  What a sweetie!  You should try her French Silk Pie.

17.  I'm in my 3rd year of dental school, so I'll be a dentist in a year and a few months!  I know a lot of y'all may not like to go to the dentist.  But I LOVE my future job!  &
my office will be cozy and cute with candles in the waiting room.  Promise.

18.  Speaking of teeth...I'm always torn between my healthy/fit side and my darned sweet tooth!  Somehow the sweet tooth always wins.

19.  Our puppy Malone is something else.  He likes to sprawl out on the tile to cool off, snuggle up with us on the couch, and look way too cute to scold when he does something bad.  What a little stinker.

20.  I called my grandmother on Mom's side "Lola."  She taught me & Little Miss to play blackjack with candy from the ice cream shop down the road.  We'd ride around on bikes with baskets all summer wearing big straw hats and picking raspberries.  I miss her!

That's enough for now.  I hope you all liked the peek into theluckiestmrs. life!
Goodnight!

You are so adorable! Thank you for showing me some love on my very own blog. :) Don't mean to sound creepy, but is your Mr's job in Memphis? I went to the university, that's why I was curious, and Orange Mound is definately not a place I hear very often outside of the city! haha I also am a recent alum of my sorority, and I will ALWAYS consider recruitment to be one of my highlights as well!

So glad I found you (or you found me rather! haha)
