Blessed weekend

And when I say Blessed, I'm pronouncing it "bless-ed" in my head. Bible style.  

Lordy, it was everything: fun with friends, family time, and then a little weasel-y ole email from a weasel-y old ex-boyfriend.  I'll get to that ugly story first, so that I can get to the fun stuff right away!

So.  First the Ugly.  I thought that I'd heard the last from my college ex-boyfriend.  He had always been...well, a bum.  But he has reached a new low by emailing me a rude and crude email last night.  Actually, three rude and crude emails.  Ugh.  It started because he sent me a  pretty innocent sounding message, "Please contact me, I need to speak to you."  So...I told Mr. and we decided that I should just ask him to respect our marriage, and that we didn't have anything to discuss.  I was crossing my fingers and praying that he would just leave us alone.  It has been years since the ex was history.  But no, he stooped to a new low.  I will absolutely not subject you to the down and out mean words he sent me, but it was just shocking.  It made me just thank the LORD that I was able to find my way out of that relationship, and find my sweet, wonderful, perfect-for-me Mr.  Anyway, the thing is that it almost frightens me that the exbf has so much rage still pent up about our relationship ending.  Literally, I spent at least 40 minutes making sure that he couldn't find our address online somewhere. 

 I can't believe that you can just search for people's home address.  Mostly, I am just annoyed at how immature and disrespectful the exbf is being.  I am married for crying out loud.  Happy, and safe, and mature. (ok, mature most of the time ;)

Enough of that.  But, I would truly truly appreciate any prayers that you might send my way.  Honestly.  For our safety, and our sanity!

Onto more fun things.  Whew!  Some of our very best friends had a couples shower in Louisville.  I love when the invite is a little peek into the fun ahead!  It was a gorgeous invite, and the shower itself was just as great!  It was beautiful and so much fun!  M&N are such great friends, and we just have so much fun whenever we get to spend time with them!  Their shower was a blast!  Mr. is one of N's groomsmen, and they pledged the same fraternity along with a lot of their great friends.  N was also in our wedding!  Through the guys, all of us "significant others" have really found sweet friendship with each other!  Miss M is the sweetest, prettiest, classy girl.  I'm so happy for both of them!  

It is always such a spirited time with all of us together.  We rented a chalet in Gatlinburg (ha!) before Christmas last year, and had Christmas sweater parties, gift exchange, etc.  So much fun!  And, word is that we're renting a house boat early this summer...so the fun continues!  It always makes me smile to think of all the fun vacations we have ahead!

Good news...only four more days of school until my spring break!  Woohoo!
