Some Favorite Things

First-you should know that I’m trying to write this post on Windows Live Writer. I’m not sure what I think about it yet, but I’ll let you know!

Second-I just thought that I’d give y’all an update on a few things that I’m loving these days!

1. Fage Greek Yogurt: It’s definitely been the staple of Mr & my lunches at school! I’m obsessed with it…creamy, tart, perfect for mix ins! Some of my top mix ins include: peanut butter, honey, blueberries…etc. SO yummy!

2. Philosophy’s Hope in a Jar: I asked your opinions a while back about face creams when I was conducting my own little research. Hope in a Jar won! It’s moisturizing and not a stitch oily!

3. Red Box: You can’t beat $1 movie rentals.

4. Kentucky Keepsakes: Classic Southern Recipes: This is such fun cook book to read! Elizabeth Ross makes sure she’s covered every style of recipe so that you’re sure to find one that tastes “just like mom’s!” Seriously, there are 13 different grits recipes, 21 guides for cooking country ham, 8 versions of chess pie, and 9 methods for making the perfect Mint Julep! To be honest, at this very second I’m reading any cook book I can get my hands on! For some reason, when I’m trying to eat especially healthily, all I want to do is read recipes. Mr asks me why I torture myself, and I’m not sure. Along this same line is #5.

5. Baking & Cooking: I realize that this is a very broad statement. I’m enjoying any time in the kitchen, even if I’m not able to enjoy the fruits of my labor. Oh, who am I kidding—the chef’s gotta at least sample along the way, right?

6. Maybelline Stiletto Mascara-My eyelashes look unbelievably looooong! I kept checking them out to be sure they were really that long. They are! I got the waterproof kind, and it still came off nicely with eye makeup remover.

7. Hanes Organic Cotton Sleep Pant- Found these at Wal-mart for about $6 about two weeks ago. They are SOO soft & comfy! They don't have a tag, and the waistband is super soft. I have tons of fancy pajamas, but these are my go-to. Mine are heather grey.

8. Running: Well, it’s not exactly a “favorite thing” yet…but maybe if I just keep telling myself that… ;) runnermag

fab fav' things- I'd simply not know what to do if fage 0% didn't exist! low-cal high protein best snack of all time! plus I substitute it for sour cream in recipes whenever possible!

Ooh, love Runner's World! And their website. :) Hopefully it will help and encourage your love of running. :)

I am in the same boat as you lately with cookbooks. I can't get enough! I have so many recipes that keep accumulating; I don't know when I am going to find the time to get through all of them. :)

Hope you're having a great Thursday!
