My Mom over at PersonalizedSketches&Sentiments tagged me with this super fun "blog hug" as she calls it! In honor of today being the first official day of Fall, I'm sharing 10 truths about me in reference to this cardigan worthy season!
1. I kinda think that "Autumn" is cuter than "Fall."
2. About three weeks ago, there was exactly one cool gust of wind. At that moment, I turned off the AC, opened all the windows to "let in the autumnal breezes", and put on a cardigan. About half an hour later, it was 88 degrees, and I had to run back around the house closing all the windows and change back into a tank top.
3. I'm obsessed with whole equestrian chic look that works so perfectly these days. You know, flat riding boots, fitted jeans, bridle-esque accessories.
4. I miss hayrides from the ole sorority days! We'd book a few school buses, head to a nearby farm, roast marshmallows, go on hayrides, and dance the night away!5. All the fall-appropriate foods are oh-so-cozy! Chili, clam chowder, pumpkin pie... Mr's mom makes a butternut squash soup that is unmatched (his dad usually makes spicy croutons to go with it!) My mom's Apple Pie is flat out ridiculous. She made the mistake of telling me that she was baking a couple for her Bible study, and I almost cried because I was missing out! (hint hint, Mom! Wonder if they'd keep long enough to overnight a couple!)
6. I could drink hot chocolate every single day, and when fall finally rolls around, the ladies at Cracker Barrel don't give me that "Are-you-seriously-ordering-hot-cocoa-in-July-in-Kentucky" look anymore.
7. Fall means October is near. October means Keeneland. Keeneland means tailgating with friends, dressing up, and trying my luck at the races!
8. Football season! Oh, how I love thee!
9. I've had a fall-themed wreath on the door ever since that cool breeze mentioned in #2.
10. I think that Kentucky is absolutely gorgeous in the fall!

I love your fall truths! It's my favorite season, but Los Angeles is showing no sign of cooling down! It's 100 this week...boo! I want to be wearing cute cardigans and scarves!!

I love that outfit but for some reason when I try it on me I just feel odd. Maybe it's all in my head? Eh? I do love me so autumn weather!!
We never did hayrides in my sorority. I feel gipped. Those sound like fun!
