leavin on a jet plane

Last night, Mr got back to town from icy Minnesota (not that it's any warmer here in Kentucky!), and he's hopping back on the plane tomorrow! Next on the list? Kansas.
These interviews have him traveling all over, and I miss him SO much! & Malone misses him too. Poor little puppy has been sleeping right by our bedroom door like he's waiting for him to come to bed. The whole process is really exciting, but honestly...I'm counting down the days until Match Day, March 18th! It is really fun to think that we could be living anywhere after graduation, but I'm ready to start house hunting, decorating, job hunting...whew! We're going to be busy little bees once we find out.

What have I been doing to keep busy while Mr is away?
1. learning to "rough house" with Malone so he's not completely bored! haha, he probably thinks I'm such a prissy Mommy. Mr gets on the ground and wrestles around with him & he LOVES it! I mostly like to cuddle with him, tie little scarves on him, teach him to look for his bird toy. Malone says, "Boooorrrriiiing!"
2. perusing all of your wonderful blogs!
3. trying to stay warm. aka changing into my coziest pajamas and house shoes & bundling up under a blanket upstairs. Our old house is full of charm...and full of drafts. Particularly on the first floor. We even got two of those draft guards thingies. It might help a bit, but it's still cold!
4. staying busy at school. My life is full of root canals and fillings these days.
5. crashing Little Miss' "family dinners." It's actually a really cute idea! She and a group of friends each take turns fixing dinner for everyone once or twice a week. I got to enjoy spinach stuffed chicken and an amazing salad a few days ago!

Anyway, that's that! & I can't wait for my next post!! I have some really fun stuff to tell you about!
