The road to becoming a dentist is littered with millions of flaming hoops to jump through.
4 exams in one week? Been there.
Starting completely over after 30 hours of labwork? Done that.
Gross Anatomy (aka 5 months in a room with 30 cadavers?) No prob.
One of the flaming-est, scariest, heart-attack-inducing-est hoops of all?
A 3 part series of exams that determine whether the past 4 years of hoop-jumping business was all for naught.
Part 1 was during the summer after 2nd year & I made it through without any damage!
Part 2 was right before Christmas, and I've been waiting for a month to get my results.
Well. I innocently came home for lunch on Thursday and saw an envelope smoldering in my mail box. Stamped on the return address?
I'd treat it like a band aid. I figured I'd open it as quickly as possible & maybe it wouldn't hurt as bad. What did it say???? I PASSED!
*cue solo celebration dance in the foyer*
Hallelujah and Praise the Lord!
Only one more scary hoop left! Y'all pray for me!

Yay congratulations! I had no idea you had to spend time with dead bodies to become a dentist. Glad I didn't take that career path (I would have been in for a surprise!) but I'm happy for you!!! :)
haha!!!! Hilarious! (not the hoop jumping craziness! of it all... but your view on it, is hilarious!) When my results came in on my exams for hygiene, I wanted to keep it hidden and did not want to even peek at the results! I love your "band-aid" method. :o)
