Monogram Giveaway!

Hello, all! Thank you to everybody that passed on my little Happy 101 award! All of you are amazing, and I love my new followers! I know I've been totally MIA...I have a huge National Board exam in less than 2 weeks. Ohmygoodness.

Anyway, on to the FUN stuff!
I am hosting my first giveaway, and I'm SO excited!

Enter to win an 8 x 10 personalized monogram.

Here is an example of a wedding monogram...the extra-special thing about it is how it's personalized. Each letter is actually created by writing the name throughout it. In the picture below, the L says "Laura", the W says their last name "Williams", and the D says "Daniel" throughout. Isn't that amazing?

Here is the same drawing framed and on display in their foyer.

Another example with a close up view of the letters! In this one, the W says "Whitney", the B says "Bryant", and the D says "Dustin." The wedding monograms can have the date written in the border if you'd like.

The drawing can also be done in your personal monogram! (with your First, Last, and Middle names.)

If you'd like to enter, please leave a comment with your favorite Christmas tradition!
For 1 extra entry, become a follower!
For 5 extra entries, head over to my mom's (the artist's) blog Personalized Sketches & Sentiments and become her follower!

Bonus* if I make it to 250 followers, I'll pick a second winner for another fun gift! HintHint, it rhymes with Milly Mulitzer. ;)

You have until Dec. 9th at midnight to enter!

Hi!
I just became your moms follower! I LOVE the monogram, it's so artistic and different!

My favorite holiday tradition used to be on Christmas eve. We would have the same meal every year! Split pea soup (not my fav!), green bean soup, fried shrimp, pierogies... it was so good. My grandma, uncle, aunt and cousins would come over and then we'd open our gifts with them. And we'd break bread in the beginning.

Unfortunately, since my grandma passed, we no longer do it. I miss it a lot but it's a lot of work on one person and my mom lost her dad not long after my grandma died. My dad didn't want to put all the pressure on her.

I really hope to bring it back to my family one day once I have kids.

Sorry for the book! Hope I win!!

Hello! I'm a follower of yours, and I just started to follow your mom!

One of my favorite Christmas traditions was trimming the tree. In our family all the girls decorated the tree and it's a great way to catch up with my mom and my sisters and also get in the holiday spirit. It's something I look forward to whenever we make it home for Christmas, which as a military wife isn't that often. *sigh*

I think this monogram is very unique and absolutely beautiful. The way that it is made by using the name is brilliant! Thanks for hosting this giveaway. :-)

OMG, that is too cute. She is so talented!

My favorite Christmas tradition is watching my little brother and sister open presents. We always let them go first and it's so fun to see how happy them are. I wish they wouldn't grow up. They are really turning into brats. ;)

My favorite Christmas tradition is on my in-law's side of the family. We all watch each other open presents one by one....except the whole time someone is unwrapping the gift..we are all(16 of us) doing the slow clap. Once they reveal the gift the entire room errupts into cheers and screams with fist pumps in the air. For EVERY single present. It is great! I just became a follower of your mom's too!! What an amazing giveaway!

My favorite tradition is going to see The Nutcracker ballet!

I also became a follower on your mothers blog! I was so excited to see that she had been commissioned to do a drawing of the Smith-Trahern Mansion in Clarksville, TN. We just moved from there, and I am pretty confident that I know the lady it was commissioned for! What a small world!

That is really neat! My favorite tradition is playing White Elephant, which we just started last year! I am also a follower.

What a lovely give-away! Wedding monograms are so elegant. Please, count me in :) And, I just added your mother's blog - beautiful work!

My favorite Christmas tradition occurs well after the presents are opened and the food is eaten. My sister and I take her two daughters (my nieces) to the movies :) We find an open theatre, order a big box of popcorn, purchase a LARGE soda, and enjoy the warmth of a holiday movie together :) So much fun!

Have a great weekend! Good luck with your tests!

You are so cute....rhymes with Milly Mulitzer...HA!

Well my favorite Christmas traditions are (I have 2)
1. Every year my family does "happy presents." A week before Christmas my mom and dad give my brother and me a small gift each day. Something simple like a lip gloss or house slippers or a Christmas cookie cutter. It's so much fun to get small things to build up to the big day! My family is a group of givers and we love to surprise each other with small things :)
2. My second favorite tradition is that my family always gets a new pair of pjs on Christmas Eve as their happy present. Many years my mom and I make the pj pants for the family. Its so much fun to spend that special time with her!

Just to let you know I'm a follower of your and your mom's blog :)

Happy Holidays and Merry Ho-Ho!

Cool artwork! I went and I'm following your mom as well. My favorite Christmas tradition is opening presents with family the night before Christmas.

Good luck with tests.

It's hard to pick just one tradition. I think when my kids were younger, it was listening to my husband read them the Night Before Christmas while I made hot chocolate and cookies for Santa with a carrot for the Rudolph. Now, it's all the kids coming home for Christmas breakfast and opening presents before we all head out to my mother's house for the day.

My favorite Christmas tradition is the yearly Christmas Eve party at the home of a friend. I was sort of adopted into their family way back when. Those parties have meant so much to me over the years.

Good luck on your exam!
