Did you know that Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, and B.B. King all got their start in Memphis in the 1950's? They're considered the Kings of Country, Rock&Roll, and Blues! Of course, I had to scope out a few of the music sites while I visited Mr!

Okay, so this isn't exactly musical, but we were hungry and made a pit stop on our way to Beale Street! We just stopped in for a quick snack (& to warm up!) Flying Fish is a fun little restaurant with great hush puppies!
I thought this "Liars' Wall" was so cute...and also mildly creepy to see how HUGE some of those fish can get! Yikes!
After warming up at Flying Fish, Mr and I strolled down Beale Street where Blues bands were a'wailing! ;) It was such a festive feel to see live bands performing in the middle of the day!
We had lots more adventures while I was in town! The Memphis Zoo, The Peabody, other local restaurants, Mud Island, etc. Can't wait to tell you all about it!
p.s. This is my 98th post! I'm planning something fun for the 100th!
